Large bottle 2019 rose thumb

The Barossa Valley has the perfect climate and ideal grape varieties to produce Rosé. It is a wine style that should be enjoyed fresh and chilled.

Having been amongst the first to lead the great Rosé revival, it has been interesting to watch the popularity of this wine style grow.

Bucking the notion that Rosé is an afterthought, our 'Prince of Pink' has a special place in our hearts & is crafted with a clear purpose.

Sourced from specific sites achieving perfect yields promoting prominent primary fruit while retaining appealing palate cleansing crispness.

Enjoy with: Friends, under a tree on a hot, summer's day. Not summer? Just turn up the heat & serve with Asian or Spanish inspired spicy or seafood dishes. Best served chilled.

James Halliday on the 2015 Rosé

Vivid fuchsia-pink colour to a blend of 92% grenache, 5 each of cabernet and shiraz, 2% dolcetto and 1% mataro, details that reflect the intense care taken with this best selling rosé. Raspberry, strawberry and red cherry (take your pick) flavours are given an edgy freshness by the crisp acidity without this would not be the same wine, instead of screaming value, value, value.

95 points.

2015 Rosé 'simply stellar summer drinking'

100% Barossa Valley. With input from grenache (92%), cabernet sauvignon, shiraz, dulcet and mataro.

It’s in a good place. And is excellent drinking. It’s bright, fruit-driven, and is unafraid of the sweetness of ripe fruit – and yet it’s savoury and spicy too. It’s all things to all people, and yet mostly it’s simply delicious. I reckon they’ve nailed this one. It is, simply, stellar summer drinking.

2015 Rosé ' everything you'd want'

A blend of five different grape varieties; grenache, cabernet shiraz, dolcetto & mature from the Barossa Valley, this was a clear winner when tasted alongside a couple of dozen rosés from the 2014 and 2015 vintages. Brimming with youthful confidence and vigour, it is fresh and lovely, crisp and dry with bright red berry flavours and a smidgen of spice; everything you'd want in a modern rosé. The Schulz family has been making "new-wave" rosés for two decades and certainly has the formula spot on. Pair with souvlaki or kofta sausages.

2015 Rosé 'flavour swirls all afternoon'

Incredibly popular with for good reason, this new vintage mix of dominant Barossa grenache with tony doses of cabernet, shiraz, dolcetto and mataro shines brightly in its glossy pale pink, then floral and strawberry like nose lift with lime zest, before hitting the palate with lip-smacking juiciness and a light dusty talc texture. Stay with the berries - their flavour swirls all afternoon.
