JAMES HALLIDAY’S, AUSTRALIAN WINE COMPANION 2006 Excellent purple; raspberry and redcurrant fruit, then a fine web of tannins for structure. Rating: 90 Points
THE WINE FRONT – Campbell Mattinson, January 2005 A big, powerful, alcoholic, mouthfilling wine with a load of flavour and a mass of appeal. Juicy, rich, cherry and licorice flavours build toward a flank of towing, fine-set tannins – adding flavour as well as texture. There are floral dynamics, as has become expected of the vintage, and it will easily satisfy grenache lovers. Rating : 92 Points
