Okay - I know I am really late to the party on this one - but today I rediscovered the simple joy of putting pencil to paper & colouring in... It's been a fairly big and stressful week here in the Barossa and surrounds, and honestly I do feel better for spending the better part of the day putting my mind to a simple (and beautiful) task. I'm hooked. So I thought I'd share with you the drawing I did today for our new Quinquina masterclass so you too can colour and de-stress a little (I'm also fairly confident this activity would go very well with a cheeky glass of wine in hand too - it is almost the weekend after all!)

Pauline Richards' 'Rhythm of Life' exhibition.

Pauline Richards' lively, whimsical paintings were on display in Cellar Door for SALA 2012 (and to be honest, we were a little sad to see them go to their new homes!) About her work, Pauline says: "My work is dependent on the design fundamentals of form, colour and composition. I look to explore the relationship between people and the natural world, its beauty and the joy it gives. Inspiration comes from the things I’m exposed to, whether here in Australia or travelling overseas. The visual stimulation inspires an overwhelming need to document these experiences.
