PX, figs, proscuitto, blue cheese... 4 things that together create magic

If you've ever joined us in Cellar Door we'll more than likely have had a good chat about food matches and made ourselves more than a little hungry in the process...

Our most favourite Pedro recipe (and chances are, if you've been served by Emily, you'll know the one) is super simple and just plain luscious...

Take fresh figs, cut an x in the top

Fill with a little blue cheese

Wrap stuffed figs with a little collar of prosciutto

Drizzle with a touch of Pedro Ximènez, salt & pepper to taste

Pop under the grill until it's all oozey, crispy and golden.

Serve with crusty bread, simple green salad and a chilled glass of Pedro Ximènez.

Perfection.
