In 1847 - when your Great-Great-Grandfather was but a twinkle in his Daddy's eye, shiraz vines were planted on the river flat in the newly settled Barossa Valley -in a place called Turkey Flat.
Come 2017 we're celebrating the lifeblood of our winery, our 'Ancestor' shiraz vines with a fittingly sumptuous dinner.
With the winery as our backdrop we will feast on a menu by Africola's Duncan Welgemoed and explore the past 27 years of Turkey Flat Shiraz created by these 170 year-old gems.
Bookings are essential for this intimate dinner.
We know how special the Barossa is. It’s our sun, our dirt, our home.
It’s only fair for us to share the best of our region with the rest of the country. It’s why we’re heading to Melbourne for Barossa. Be Consumed – a one-day celebration of the best of the Barossa.
Come down and help us celebrate what we’ve got – amazing food, wine, history and culture.
...oh and there's a rumour going around that we'll have our 2015 Shiraz & 2016 Grenache on pre-release tasting.
(Rumours do have a habit of being true in cases like these)
We'll see you there!
